Nan Zeng

Dr. Nan Zeng has been working on sustainable land management, forestry carbon sequestration, and regenerative agriculture for years. Currently, her work focuses on promoting Nature-based Solutions (NbS)to achieve synergistic governance of climate change and biodiversity. She is a certified coach in the Global Conservation Coaches Network. She served as a consultant on  conservation strategy design and conservation plan development for several natural reserves and conservation programs. She published 17 papers on Chinese and English academic journals. She is a major contributor to two books on ecological protection. She also worked with the World Bank to complete a pre-feasibility study that evaluated the use of NbS to combat climate change in China. Nan Zeng received her PhD in ecology from Inner Mongolia Agricultural University in China. She also worked as a Research Scientist for one year at the University of New Brunswick in Canada.
