Meng (Amanda) Ai

Amanda Ai leads coal cap and low-carbon transition projects in China’s top coal-consuming provinces, e.g., Shandong and Henan. She also serves as the team’s research lead on reducing dispersed coal and synergizing air quality improvements and carbon reduction. Prior to joining NRDC, she worked for Ramboll, an international environmental and engineering consulting company, as a lead consultant in environmental and health sector, in both California and Beijing offices, providing consulting services with air emissions inventory, air quality analysis, regulatory analysis, and sustainable development. Amanda obtained a B.S. in chemistry from Peking University, and a M.S. in Environmental Engineering and Science from Stanford University.
