To support China’s transition to a new power system with a high share of renewable energy, NRDC and China Energy Research Society (CERS) jointly developed a report, Research on the Construction of a New Power System. The report analyzes the characteristics of a New Power System, assesses the main implementation challenges and solutions, and proposes the pathways toward China's power sector decarbonization under different scenarios.
