Support 18th Environmental Law Training for Judges, Procurators, and Lawyers

NRDC supported the 18th Environmental Law Training for Judges and Lawyers, that was held by the Center for Legal Assistance to Pollution Victims under China University of Political Science and Law and Chongqing municipal Supreme People's Court. Around 120 participants including local judges, procurators, police officers and environmental lawyers participated in the training. It was the first time for police officers and procurators to participate such training. It aimed to promote the coordination and cooperation among courts, procuratorates and public security bureaus to uphold environmental protection and improve legal enforcement. After the training, NRDC also held lawyer's roundtable to release the US Environmental Public Interest Litigation: experiences and lessons learned and discussed case updates with the law fellows.
