The Clean Power project aims to create a shared vision and roadmap toward decarbonization of China’s power sector by engaging key stakeholders and policy makers in roundtable discussion and research. As the current round of Chinese power sector reform involves a wider spectrum of stakeholders representing a multitude of perspectives and interests, the project has been designed from its inception as a forum and an ongoing channel for discussion of critical and contentious reform issues. These exchanges and analyses will inform policymakers with an on-the-ground picture of the effects of the reform across industrial sectors, and in turn, support policy implementation.
